I am a fully qualified and experienced, counsellor, psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, life coach and teacher. I offer one-one sessions on an on-going or time limited basis. My clients have come from diverse backgrounds, ages and sexual orientations. As I believe that mind, body and spirit are all connected I work in a holistic way with you as a whole person h ping to give you the power and freedom to make choices.

As an integrative counsellor I combine different counselling and psychotherapy approaches to ensure that I can work in the most effective way, helping you in the way that suits you best. Since individuals think, feel and behave in different ways, it feels important to work with clients in individual ways too. I work in a non-judgmental, accepting, caring and challenging way respectful of the BACP guidelines.

In my practice I offer a regular time and a safe, reflective, empathic and non-judgmental setting where we work together to explore and understand your difficulties, giving you the time and space to come to the choices and solutions which are right for you.  I am here to help facilitate your growth, insight and change at your pace.

I believe that a commitment to confidentiality, safety, respect and a non-judgemental attitude are essential. I feel that everyone is unique and therefore needs to be seen and heard from their own individuality. Everyone has the capacity to change via self-reflection, growth and healing. As children our experiences can have a profound effect on us as adults and those unresolved issues can continue to disturb us therefore interfering with our ability to become fully functioning adults.

I am qualified in Person Centred, CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and TA (Transactional Analysis) modalities which I usually integrate. I am also a qualified clinical supervisor and see counsellors and psychotherapists for supervision. At times I will also use life coaching techniques.  I have taught the CPCAB counselling diploma for over 19 years.
